DreamLand: Oneirology + Processwork(MWF)

Service Description

The DreamLand course spans over five to eight weeks (this is for rhythmic learning and flexibility within each group), providing students' with a brief but in depth multicultural and multi-natural dive into the history of Dream Analysis. When this practice is done in coincidence with creative process work as means for analysis, new levels of self discovery, healing and interpersonal/cultural reclamation can be achieved and sustained against the hard confines of our rigid and often antihuman society. Pupils are required to keep dream journals and occasionally share with the class to explore common themes and solutions for our communities. Classes are small, about five to eight people in each group. This is to make sure everyone gets their learning needs met, neurodiversity is important to me. It also allows us to really deep dive into art projects and presentations. Each class will be fifty to ninety minutes minutes consisting of both a lecture portion and "lab/practice" portion. Where students will be given in class creative exercises. Different practices from lecture or class text are encouraged. When I have enough students for in person sessions, Class will meet as scheduled, at the Urban League SOS Center at 2626 Cherokee Street St. Louis, MO. Virtual class attendance is default for now and will remain an option once in person sessions begin. Reading materials include: Soul Making, The Desert Way of Spirituality, The Shaman's Body and Working with the Dreaming Body by Arnold Mindell, Projection of the Astral Body by Sylvan J. Muldoon and Hereward Carrington. **This list is subject to change, I will always do my best to let students know ahead of time and provide reading materials for free when I am able to. The syllabus and class lecture materials will be shared via email once registration is complete. This is a non traditional learning course, I use a Montessori meets discovery driven learning approach, tailored for adults! I hope that helps things feel a little more comfortable.
